FFC NL 2025 TALKS
FFC NL 2025
From Burgers and Bikes to Team Topologies
Great ideas often come from the most unexpected sources. In this talk, I’ll show how drawing analogies from diverse industries such as a fast food giant and their kitchens or engineering behind bicycles — can be connected to modern practices, agile ways of working and Team Topologies concepts.
I’ll explore the connections that have inspired me, aiming not only to deepen our collective understanding of Team Topologies but also to spark curiosity about the analogies all around us.
When you learn a topic from different viewpoints and use analogies to link concepts, you’re more likely to build flexible, lasting understanding.
It’s a powerful way to teach yourself, or explain to others—so that the material “clicks” on a deeper, more intuitive level and unlocks powerful insights into 'why' 'what' and 'how'.
These fresh perspectives help us communicate more effectively, spark genuine enthusiasm, and drive meaningful action—ensuring that Team Topologies concepts truly resonate within our organizations and/or customers.

Gielen Rojas Lopez
Relentless evolution Strategist - ValueCraft Studio
A long-time advocate of systems thinking, I focus on the seamless integration of value chains, customer experience, and operational efficiency to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
With over 20 years of experience spanning business and technology, I bring a unique blend of strategic expertise and hands-on execution. My deep knowledge of frameworks, models, and methodologies is complemented by practical experience in IT service management, business analysis, and cloud consulting, working with organizations that operate within complex, hybrid IT environments.
This diverse background has enabled me to build extensive expertise in technology management, service delivery, and organizational transformation across both the private and public sectors, as well as with leading cloud providers such as Microsoft and VMware.
I firmly believe that, much like ecosystems, organizational improvement must embrace interconnectedness and continuous adaptation—there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Tools, frameworks, and methodologies should serve as enablers, not rigid prescriptions, and success comes from crafting tailored approaches that allow organizations to evolve incrementally and effectively.
Whether working on product implementations, service improvements, or target operating models, I bring a holistic perspective that balances technology, services, and human-centric design, ensuring sustainable and impactful transformation.
